Saturday Chip----Stubborn/Willing

I have a sinus infection that is real stubborn. I doesn't want to let me breathe out of my nose. I'm willing to keep taking the meds and
hoping to feel better soon. I am also willing to get to a meeting today cuz meeting makers make it!!!

Thinking back 12 years to when I came into recovery, I was WILLING to do what they did so i could get what they had. I was willing to CHANGe. I was willing to work the steps and do what I could do to make my life better. I was willing to use the tools, get tot he meetings and read the books. I was a sponge in fact.

Now I am stubborn enough to keep doing all of those things to KEEP my serenity.

Willing to do whatever it takes to maintain my sobriety. That means mental, emotional, spiritual and physical sobriety. I stubbornly refuse to allow my disease to control my life.

Hope this fellow will brighten your day and you will no longer be feeling miserable. He looks like she could use some cheering up too.
