I have to put the living room back together now that the carpet is down. I have a curio cabinet of all kinds of bunnies:glass-wood-and cloth. There is 5 shelves to get organized. It will be a good Sunday afternoon project. Everything is disorganized in boxes. Are you organized or disorganized? Please let me know! Thanks----Mistyeve

I am Organized. I searched my mind tos ee when this habit started...putting things in labeled contaioners and such. I dound out it was as a young child. My life with two active alkie parents was full of uncertainty and chaos. Some days were great and others I wantd to block from my mind,. That's when i started bringing order to the chaos. I could not control my parents, so I controlled the space around me.
I continued it into adulthood. (And chaos was again around me) When i found recovery I realized I was almost anal about it so I laxed up alot. My "order" is not partly organized and partly clutter. But I can usually go right where I need to find something even if it is in a clutter area.
At school each year he asks us at the end of the year to fill out a form with our strengths and "growth areas". I always put organized and generous as 2 of the three. I do see myself as ORGANIZED.
I can understand your bunny curio cabinet situation. I have Department 56 Christmas and Dickens villages displayed in my den. To put each one back init's own box would be a HUGE undertaking. I'd have to do that to get new carpet. If I ever come up with money for new carpet, curtains, paint, etc, I'd have a BIG JOB on my hands. They ahve certain boxes with shaped styrofoam and they will fit in the box only one way. I took down one shelf not long ago. It was only about 7. The mantle has 12 plus the figureines. The two shelves beside the TV have 38 buildings and tons of figurines. Each has it's own box. I cant imagine how many hours and days it woudl take to put them all away. I put away 2 at Christmas and gave them to a neice. I gave 2 of the Christmas village to another neice. They are quite valuabel since they are all retired pieces. (there goes that GENEROUS chip. LOL)
