I am loyal to people and things that matter to me. I stop being loyal when I feel I have been tricked or insulted. Loyalty is not easy to give or receive. That is just my own opinion. What is your opinion on loyalty/disloyalty? Please let me know! Thanks!----- Mistyeve

i love receiving loyalty...think it's very easy. Giving loyalty has become a habit to me and is easy. Even when i have felt insulted i can still be loyal. It is like the idea of turn the other cheek or sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. My boss may tick me off but I'm still loyal to my job. I won't quit my job because the boss annoys me at times. I wont quit going to family dinners jsut because one brother is an ass. (When we pray before the meal he leaves the room so he wont have to hear us pray.)
Loyalty is standing up for them, supporting them. standing by them. It can be a person or a group. I am very loyal to my jobs. I am loyal to my responsibilities to my recovery group. I am also loyal to family and freinds.

Dear Lin----You made me realize my loyalty is conditional. If I feel insulted or disgusted it is very difficult to remain completely loyal to anyone or anything. This is a character defect that I need to continue to be aware of and work at it. Thanks for stopping by!---- Mistyeve

Welllllll......Faithful to a person, ideal, custom, cause, or duty?
I'm loyal to the G-d of my understanding. And I'm pretty faithful to the principles of the program.
Thinkin' that's a good start..LOL
