I was out riding my bicycle and the cars came right up behind me or else they swerved around me and honked. This startled and scared me to the point where I just walked my bike on the sidewalk till I got to the park where there was a bike path. It seems like drivers in cars don't like bike riders. I know when I am driving my car a bike rider is a real pain in traffic. I got a taste of this prejudiced feeling from both points of view. Are you prejudiced or do you have equality? Please let me know! Thanks------Mistyeve

I dont like to drive behind a bike that is riding in the traffic lane. If there is not a bike path at the side, then bikes need to be walked until they ge to one. I dont honk and get angry at them, but I dont appreciate a bike in the driving lane. (especially if it is a child zig zagging, riding with no hands, goofing around...etc) The person can fall off easily and my car may not be able to stop in time to avoid running over them.
prejudice and equality? I'm not prejudiced against any group, race, nationality, sex, etc. I belive eerybody has a right to believe as they wish and a right to the same rights and freedoms as others.
I saw a news report a couple of weeks ago. I had a feeling of prejudice about it. It showed hundreds of children crossing the borders from mexico to the US each monring and then getting on public school buses and going to public schools in california. I'm not sure I like that. I see immigrants in my town use food stamps and get free rent and not have to pay tAXES. i HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY ARE LEGAL OR ILLEGAL, BUT i'M NOT SURE I SEE THAT AS FAIR WHEN WE HAVE OUR OWN PEOPLE THAT NEED THE FUNDS. oops. cap lock.
I'm not against mexicans or any other nationality...my sister married one and had children. I love them equally with my other neices and nephews. So dont take this as being against a certain nationality.
I'm jsut not sure I think immigrants need to get the free services we provide to our citizens.
A few weeks ago I thought I did nto have any prejudices, but now I think I do. gonna have to pray on this one.

I understand how u feel Lin about the boarders and its situation, with me having to live not so far from the boarder do get to me soemtimes, especially when its a pretty heavy issue on the illegals comign in by hundreds. Its hard for me to not to be prejudice on that particular subject when our country really needs the help out there and the rediculous health insurance that we have to pay oh yeah and the high rise of the gas too. You know I tend to get a little prejudice on that topic cuz I feel that we are being taken on that big time.

Dear DG----This is probably a very prejudiced thing on my part but I get sooooo angry when stuff like greeting cards and directions to use stuff is in spanish as well as in english. They should learn the language of this country NOT have everything be translated to their language!!!! This really aggravates my big time. Thanks for stopping by!-----Mistyeve
