Things are getting slow again at work and I am nervous about getting laid off or fired. I try to always be busy at work even if it is just straightening up. I can be lazy when I get home but I want to keep my job so I stay active. Are you active or lazy? Please let me know Thanks------Mistyeve

Do you mean you have to pretend you are busy so you can keep your job? Oh my. That's scarey. I never have to pretend to be busy at either of my jobs. I can always do more.
active or lazy? I've had folks tell me that i never let grass grow under my feet. I take that as a compliment that i am active and always on the go.
Yesterday...wal mart at 3 AM, hardees at 5, back to wal amrt at 5:45, then home and on to school where I decorated a grapevine wreath with black ribbon to hang on the front door of the school in honor of the Pope. ...teach all day...then faculty meeting until 4, home in time to change my shoes and off to a one hour aerobics class. After that was my 'lazy" part...fixed supper, ate, watched American Idol and House, studied my lesson for tonight's Ww meeting (during the commercials) and to bed at 9. I woke at 1 and have watched 2 hours of yesterday's soaps on soapnet, had my shower, made a fruit salad for today, taken my shot, and it's almsot 3:30. I'll probably go back to wal mart in a few minutes and then to Hardees and start another busy , active day. Tonight is my meeting at WW that I lead every week. I leave for that at 4. I volunteered to be the teacher rep for the interview sessions of a new principal. That will take about 5 or 6 hours of my life the next few weeks. And it will also take planning if i have to have a sub cover my class while i am gone.
Definitely ACTIVE.

Dear Lin----I am a file clerk at a Ford Dealership. I work in the service files dept. and also go over to the parts warehouse files dept. When we do service like a brake job or whatever there are papers or hard copy of the work done. The same thing with the sale of parts. If there is no work done or sales made I have nothing to file. My job depends on others doing there job and Yes! that can be real scarey at times! You sure do have an active life and I want to thank you for taking time to stop by and talk about the chip of the day. Thanks HOney!--Mistyeve

Well this is an active day today. I had my friend's birthday present delivered at 8:30 a.m. Am going to an Al-Anon meeting at 12 noon and have an appointment at 2 p.m. Tonight is also the night of my Women For Sobriety Meeting. Not too much time to get lazy today, and as well as the physical, the mental geometrics going on in my head, tires me out just as much as anything. There is nothing more tiring than emotions.
