This is one of the most difficult chips for me to practice. It means I have to think before I act and NOT act before thinking on reflex or instincts. This is a tough chip but I will sure give it a try. Are you disciplined or undisciplined??? Please let me know! Thanks--------- Mistyeve

John said basically what I planned to say. Before I act I often ask myself....DO i REALLY want to make an amends to this person for what I am about to do or say??? That in itself often makes me change my mind, sit on my hands and zip my lips.
disciplined to me means orderly conduct....conduct having good moral actions. It is evident in my words and actions.
I am more on the disciplined side of this chip than the undisciplined side. I probably need to take a good look at myself over this one. I dont remember ever having you pull this chip.
THanks!

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Discipline/undiscipined
On a global level self disciplined is a necessity to life and living in this world. To abide by its rules and regulations. Much the same with working this program. Self discipline gives each of us some sort of path of conduct, how to behave like human beings. It gives us some sense of what is right and wrong. Without discipline there is chaos and anarchy. But being mindful that imposed discipline can be easily carried to extremes only to undermine its very use.
Love & God Bless Arlene

Dear John---There is a rock song by Ringo Starr (Beatles) that says "Got to pay your dues if ya want to sing the blues and ya know it don't come easy" I think being self disciplined is a real difficult thing but it does have its rewards! Thanks for stoppin by!----Mistyeve
Dear Lin----I would always throw this chip back when I would draw it and I am trying now to do what ever comes up and not throw anything back. You are so observant and I was hoping nobody would notice that it is NOT a popular chip with me... LOL thanks for stopping by to talk about this---Mistyeve
Dear Arlene----You are right! This chip needs to be practiced at a global basis. We wouldn't have 1/2 the world problems if self discipline was practiced. Glad you could stop by to talk about this--- Mistyeve

Have been trying to make a conscious effort. It is difficult with fibromyalgia, your body doesn't always let you do what you want to do when you want to do it.
If you get the body willing, the mind doesn't always follow.
