There are times that I have to pray like crazy to be willing to be willing. A lot of times my pride and stubborness will mix together and make a strong feeling that I just can't seem to fight off. Are you stubborn or willing? Please let

I can be stubborn but after some soul searching I can become willing,usually its a case of misguided pride getting in the way.

Dear John----Pride is the first of the 7 deadly sins and according to the 12 & 12 its not an accident that pride leads the procession....
When I mix stubborn & pride it can

There were times in my life when stubbronness was a problem. When i refused to give up on an impossible feat such as making an active alcoholic stop drinking. It was fighting a losing battle and i was too stubborn to see it.
Today I am willing to make any twinges of stubbornness work FOR me instead of against me. I worked hard to lose my weight. I am jsut stubbron enough to keep it off by doing whatever it takes. I also worked hard to gain serenity in my life. And I am willing to do what it takes to keep it.
So today this chip is a win-win chip....no matter what i am dealing with.

Dear Lin----This is one of the chips that can actually go in all different directions depending on how you see it and use it. I really like the idea of having it be a winner no matter how you look at it. Thanks for stopping by!!!

Dear Shawna----Pride can be good too! Example:taking a shower and wearing clean clothes. These are good things and keep your self esteem at a good level. You are right it does depend on the situation!!! Thanks for stopping by Honey!------Mistyeve
