I went out on Sunday nite to make sure I had gas in my car for Monday and the start of a new week. I can just hear what the mechanics at work would say if I ran outta gas on the way to work. Women drivers are still treated with some prejudice. I think all drivers have the same stuff to face and there is equality for accidents and tickets. Do you believe in equality or prejudice? Please let me know! Thanks-----Mistyeve

I had to drive to Louisville yesterday for a bridal shower. When i was almost there on the interstate a lady in a van talking to the 4 kids she had in the car swerved way over into my lane and almost wiped us out. . Luckily I had room to move some into the lane to my left and laid on my horn. She had to jerk to correct those 2 feel she was over the line. She missed the whole side of my car by inches. It was scarey. Cell phones are not the only reason people should keep their minds on the road. talking to the kids in the back of a van at 65 to 70 MPH can really be dangerous also.
Equality? Always. I dont have any prejudices toward groups, people, races, religions, etc. When the new pope was chosen a few days ago i heard non-catholics fussing that we had picked a "nazi" because he had been drafted into the nazi army at one time in his life. If he had read the fine print, he ALSo went AWOL from that because he did not like what he was doing there. In this case, prejudice was obvious. I see it as the most recent pope was a tough act to follow and people would have complained no matter who they had chosen.

Dear John----I agree with you on the drivers with the cell phones glued to their ears. It scares the crap outta me! I think they should figure out a way to make them have a speaker phone that doesn't need any hands at all! Just my opinion...Thanks for stopping by Mistyeve
Dear Lin----Wow! It sounds like you had a real close call with that van almost missing you by inches. In my opinion the kids shoulda got a ticket for almost causing an accident. Glad you are okay and thanks for stopping by!---Mistyeve

Morning Mistyeve,
Equality/prejudice
For me even though I was raised in a dysfunctional family, I am grateful that I have been given the gift to see each person for who they are, and not stereotype or categorize them. My exposure to different races and different religions and different ideas has removed any ideas of prejudice. In all walks of life there are those who are good and those who are not. I see each person for their own merits. Black , white, pink, male , female, gay, straight or whatever we are all God's children and He sees us all equally and treats us all the same. It is not what is on the outside that counts but what is in our hearts and soul that makes us all the same. With the same doubts, fears, and concerns. We are all brothers and sisters in the sea of humanity.
Love & God Bless Arlene
