I think there are healthy fears and learning to separate them from the unreasonable ones is a matter of faith. I have to have faith in my self and my Higher Power that WE can handle anything together today. Do you have faith or fear? Please let me know! Thanks!---Mistyeve

Dear John----You have done your part and your can only be responsible for yourself. I would have faith in myself and let the class know that you did all you could by yourself and that if you would of had some "team work" it may of been even better! Good Luck You are in my thoughts & prayers!!! Mistyeve

Have been fearful this morning because I have had chest pains again yesterday and today. They say it isn't my heart so I am trying to walk in faith with what the doctor's say and that isn't easy.
God, I trust. Doctors, I don't trust.
I have no fear of dying, but I do have fear of the unknown, maybe because I have an inquirity mind and like to be 'in the know' when it comes to my health. Too many things to do, places to go, and don't like not being able to do it.

Dear Caressa----I know what ya mean about Doctors! I have had some real "lemons" in my life too. I think you are very normal to be worried about any unusual or ongoing pains. Good Luck! You are in my thoughts and prayers.-------- Hope for the best & cope with the rest! Mistyeve

Hi Mistyeve,
Running real late here. I know what you mean about doctors. They can be a real pain. Literally !!! Going through tons of dental work , which should have been a simple 1,2,3, process but is turning into a long drawn out and expensive painful process. But I learned a long time ago in nusring school that doctors are pretty much guessing at what is wrong when you go to them. They have studied for years and based on your symptoms they come up with an educated guess of what is going on. Now that is faith.... letting someone treat you medically based on an educated guess. But what are the alternatives? Letting some novice treat your ailments? Now that would be a scary scenario.
Sometimes having faith tinged with a a little fear is good. For example with the doctor situation. If you are going to a doctor and he treats you for whatever ailment and you see no improvement or are getting worse that would be cause for concern. Fear can be useful . It can be worked for the positive. When you are walking down a dark lonely street , fear makes you more aware of your surroundings. It heightens your senses. But fear like any other emotion taken to the extreme and you become a basket cases. Just as in most things there must be a balance.
Love & God Bless Arlene

My Very Dear Arlene----Great minds think alike!!! LOL Fear can be used as a good thing to heighten the senses and keep ya safe. I love the fact that the DR is just guessing better then what I could. LOL I kinda brings them more down to earth (in my opinion) Sorry about all your dental work! If it makes ya feel any better I am gonna end up with a million $ smile whether I plan on it or not!!! So glad you could stop by---Mistyeve
