I have been told by my family and friends to be very careful when buying a major purchase (house, car, furniture) that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. I guess you need to be suspicious in some circumstances. Are you suspicious or do you trust? Please let me know! Thanks-Mistyeve

That's good advice. Not sure if it means we are SUSPICIOUS...but it might jsut mean we get the quality we pay for.
I grew up in a day and time when trust was not even an issue. We never locked our house when I was growing up unless we were leaving town for a few days. it was unlocked at night and when we were away for a few hours. We let 'strangers' come in to sell us magazines, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaners, etc. We picked up hitch-hickers on the road and took them where they needed t go. Trust of strangers was not even an issue.
But i soon lerned i could not trust those clsoe to me. I expected them to love and nurture and respect me and they were not capable of it. All they seemed to care about was drinkign and fighting with each other.
Today i trust those people who have earned my trust. If they do somethi8ng to make me lose trust i am cautious with trust with those people until they redeem theirselves. I'd not say i am suspicious about folks around me these days. but i Am cautious.

My Saturday was a day of trust. I had to trust my body would see me through a concert of music by the Supremes and Temptations music. It took rest in the afternoon, but I made it there and my friend and I even managed to do some dancing.
It started at 7:30 p.m. and didn't finish until 10:00 p.m. It was a great evening.
There was an original member in each group which made it extra special.

Dear Lin----The word caution sure sounds a lot nicer then the word suspicious. Thanks for stopping by with an alternative----Mistyeve
Dear Caressa----I love the good old Motown bands. I learned how to fast dance to the Temptations. I went to a mixed race school and the blacks really knew how to dance!!! Sounds like you had a good time. Glad you could stop by and tell us about it. Thanks----Mistyeve
