I am going over to Mom's to help her today. She has a bad knee that needs surgery and she can hardly walk. I've been going over doing laundry and cleaning out closets and what ever else she wants cuz I am a woman of my word and I am loyal to my Mom. It gets difficult at times but I feel good doing it. Are you loyal or disloyal??? Please let me know!!! Thanks----Mistyeve

I'm happy for you that you have a mom around to go do things with. Glad you want to help out today. family loyalty is great.
I consider myself very loyal. Loyalty to me is sticking up for, defending, supporting, sharing in the good times as well as the abd, helping out wihtout expecting anything in return, always being there for the person or place.
I am loyal to my family. I offer to help out as often as i can. And i'm always available to listen. I am loyal to my jobs. I go in early and stay late. Another person at WW is paid to clean up and restock each week, but if I get there early and the vacuum needs running or shelves need restocking, i Do it. I am always at work early at both of my jobs. I support the jobs and even promote them in my community. I dont do it in a harrassing way, though. Example. On saturdays i work at Weight Watchers and have to be there at 7:15 AM. Whne i go to wal mart and Hardes before ww, I wear my nametag that says my name and WW and how much weight I lost. That's loyalty. I am also very loyal to my teaching job. I could have quit and went tot he public schools many years ago like lots of co-workers have done. the pay is much more and the benefits are much more. But i stayed. Now that i'm old enough and have been there long enough to retire, I really cant afford it becasue i'd not make enough and woudl lose all insurance. (the public schools give you insurance for life after 27 years.) I never realized that woudl be important to retire, but I am still glad i stayed.
Loyalty is taking up for somebody and i try to do that. Loyalty is not bad-mouthing or gossiping about them. I try to avoid that always.
I am loyal to my recoveyr groups and to this column. I try to psot every day. I make it to my Monday f2f unless it is out of my control such as a meeting for work. Last week i went and there was one newcomer and nobody else showed up. I am so thinkful i was there for her.
Count me loyal.

Dear Lin---That is something I am very stubborn and passionate about. To be there for the newcomer is so important!!! If you would not of been there the new comer would of thought that no one gave a d**n and maybe of gave up on the program. This is real serious stuff!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR LOYALTY TO THIS COLUMN!!! I wouldn't have anyone to talk to otherwise!!! LOL I am very glad you stopped by today.... Love & Hugs & Gratitude---Mistyeve

Morning Mistyeve,
Loyal/Disloyal
I am loyal to the God of my choosing, my Program, and my family of choice. For me to be loyal I have to have unwaivering trust in them. When that trust falters on either side so do loyalties. I try to keep it real simple where my alligences are.
Love & God Bless Arlene

Dear Arlene---So glad you could stop by today! Always good to hear from you honey!----Mistyeve
Dear John---I am so Grateful to you for going thru all the hassle to get back to this column. It shows me that you are determined to work on your defects and to get some help while ya do it. I think it is much easier to work on my defects if I can talk to others about them. Glad you feel the same way too! We are on the same page and that feels great!!! Thanks soooo much for stopping by! Love & Hugs----Mistyeve
