I hope this retreat will fill me with serenity and peace. It has been very chaotic in my life lately and I could sure use some serenity. Do you have serenity or chaos??? Please let me know! Thanks----Mistyeve

I still have chaos in my life, but I dont let it drag me down like it used to. Serenity is awesome. It's a way to let the chaos go on and not get to me. I have serenity in spite of chaos.
Example...one of my dogs got sick late Saturday night of the memorial day weekend. I did what I could...did not panic of freak out...even clled the vet at 11 PM and got instructions on medication for the problem. I remained calm . A middle of the night sick dog could have filled me with chaos, but i didn't let it.
I think a big part of maintaining my serenity is relying on my HP. Faith that things will turn out for the best helps me stay salm and peaceful instead of freaking out.

My life will probably be very chaotic from now until the end of the month while I get packed and moved.
The nice thing is that thanks to this program, I can be serene amongst the turmoil. It already looks very overwhelming. I know that if I stay in the day, things will work out.

Afternoon Mistyeve,
Serenity/Chaos
For the most part I have serenity in my life. Sure there are times when things get chaotic. But I look at this chaos as a normal part of the challenges that God gives us to grow and learn from. The chaos today is very different from the chaos when hubby was in active addiction or I was in recovery. That was true insanity. When faced with the bumps in the road today I let my program kick into overdrive and let God handle it. I don't fret the small stuff. We are on this planet for much too short a time, so we might as well make the best of it.
Love & God Bless Arlene
