I just pulled this chip. It's appropriate because i was IMPATIENT to reply to my chip of the day. I checked about 3 AM. again about 4 AM and now after 6. No chip. I guess i was being IMPATIENT that no chip was here. When I worked my 4th step the first time this defect was my more glaring defect and the one I worked on FIRST. it seems even after all these years it creeps back in now and then. Is there a chip called "makes excuses" or "rationalizes" because that's what I'm doing over today's chip. Today I leave for WW (work at 10 after 7. Then I leave there, buy 2 cakes or pies at the store and take them to church for the annual church picnic, then home for just a few minutes..maybe 15 at the most..then to a bridal brunch at a swanky house..very dressy brunch....then back home, change into something casual and to the church picnic for a few hours. my rationalizing is telling me..if i don't post NOW, it will be late afternoon before i get another chance. So today i will be thinking about PATIENCE. Are you patient or impatient? LIN

Dear Misty, My prayers have always been with Big Jim. When you 2 speak again please wish him my best. Glad that he will be back on board. We certainly could use his spice around here. LOL Patient / Impatient I have always been told that good things comes to those who wait. So I am still waiting. All kidding aside, patience is something that I continuously have to work on. I hate being late for things. I even have my watch set a few minutes ahead I just want to do what I have to and get on with my life. Sometimes I have to slow down and smell the roses. Love & God Bless Arlene

My Very Dear Arlene---I get things done by saying to myself just do it!!! I plow thru chores and work that way most of the time. You are right about stopping to smell the roses. I think that is one of the reasons I bring the joke of the day to work. I like to break up the gloom & serious feelings and have some "comic relief" Jim promised to keep coming back so we will have to keep our eyes open fo him. Thanks for stopping by!!!--- Mistyeve
