I am procrastinating on replying to a mean and viscious email I got today. I didn't deserve all the "character assisinations" that were in there and I need to just keep procrastinating on a reply until I can cool down and think clearly. Do you procrastinate of do you do it??? Please let me know! Thanks-----Mistyeve

Misty...when I have to reply to someting like that I do wait a while until I have cooled off. I also write my reply...the things i WANT to say amd then I DELETE it. I do not send it. You know why? If I lower myself to the same name calling the other person did, I'm jsut as bad as they are. Writing it, reading it, crying at times and deleting it makes nobody else get hurt.
Then my final note back to that perspn was..I AM SORRY YOU FEEL THAT WAY. period.
I am definitely a DO IT instead of a procrastinator. the night school was out and my 3 month vacation began I organized and made the new vocabulary cards for the video spanish we have at school. Then it was ready. Within a few days I sorted my bags of bulletin boards by months and put them away in the shed. When the month begins all year I will ahve my bag ready to take to school.
My throey on procrastinating...if I put it off, it often becomes a bigger job. Things like mowing, dishes, laundry, cleaning, shoveling snow, etc. are prime examples of jobs that get bigger when I put them off. SO...i do a little as often as i can and those jobs never get overwhelming.

Dear Lin----Thanks for the suggestions. I have heard of the writers tecniques of "rough draft" and "editing" and it sure is a good way to get it out and not cause any more damage. name it--- claim it---dump it!!! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs & Thanks------- Mistyeve
