I start my day by praising God and asking for help to make it thru the day clean and sober. I have been known to criticize people but I try not to be mean. Say what ya mean and mean what ya say but ya don't have to say it meanly. Do you praise or criticize? Please let me know! Thanks----Mistyeve

I try to praise as often as possible. My way of thinking is the old...IF YOU CAN'T SAY SOMETHING NICE, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL. SO if somebody aroudn me deserves praise or it appears a litle praise woudl make them feel better, i go for it. I try not to be critical of anybody. I was so criticised as a child. My parents could nto be pleased no matter what I did. So I know how deeply to the bone criticism can be. I do try to avoid it as much as possible.

Dear Lin----I heard in a meeting a long time ago a woman said "sticks and stones may break my bones but your mean words will always haunt me" I remember stuff my Mom said to me when I was a kid that was real critical and mean. I recently got a cruel, mean, and critical email that I thought was just way out of line. This stuff sticks with me and I need to NOT do the same. Thanks for stopping by!-----Mistyeve
