Good Morning Everyone, I recieved a email from Misty Eve this morning stating that she is unable to log on to this site, and she is unable to post her final goodbye. She stated that she is quitting the column due to the things that is going on in her life and not being able to log on as well, plus the lack of interest in people in chippin the column, she stated pretty much that you, Lin are the only one that is pretty faithful to this column. (  ) I am hoping that she will be able to log back on to do the final goodby on her terms, but since she asked me to make the post to all of you on her departure to EOR. Here it is.Thank you. |

Thanks DG. I was expecting this one too. Lildee posted one in the coffee shop today.
Yes..I ahve been a very faithful poster. I think since the column started i may have missed one or 2 days 9except when I was out of town which was rare.)
I appreciate your service Misty and am saddened to see EOR go down like this.
Thansk for helping me start my day with a reflection on my character defects/assets.

I had a little trouble logging on as well,
maybe it's something in the water.
Hope your reading this Misty Eve.......
I am waiting with anticipation for your
post. I hope you make it heart felt and
sincere, but above all, make it short.
A little drama always is a crowd pleaser ;D
I've not been a regular around here for
quite some time, but I refused to I quit
reading the boards. Your column was
one I could count on.......
Oh well, stuff happens!
The unique part of "Chipping Away" was it
made you think. Guess you are looking for
a bigger audience, wonder if you considered
posting it every other day? Or once a week.....
Or just every now and then....

My computer has been down. Just cost me $200. to get it fixed and hopefully I will be connected to the internet tonight. I am writing this from the library. Have missed everyone and sure hope to be back regularly, starting tomorrow. I have asked a friend to come over this evening to help get me back into action.
Sorry you have made the decision to leave Misty. EoR has had it's ups and downs and your column has always been there, I am sorry to hear you are deciding to give it up. Many people come and read, even if they don't post. You will be missed.

I agree with Caressa and Sunnygirl. Misty's column really made me think each day. I checked email and then the chipping section. That was my morning routine. It seems so odd not to ahve it. It really did make me THINK.

Misty, Even tho you asked me to tell everyone about your departure, I never said anything about how I felt, you are truly a special person and I am gonna miss you. When I do post here, I have to say that your column made a place for me to vent, or Share my ESH... I liked that!!  Thanks again Misty for being here for as long as you have, and do hope that your departure won't be too long and that you will be back again "Chippin" yur little heart away.....
