Today has been difficult because I have been in pain. My fibromyalgia, osteo, and arthritic gout makes for a lot of inconsistancy in my life. There are just days I can't do, other days I have to make myself do, and other times, I have let things just be.
I never learned to be consistent when Iwas growing up and I know that being inconsistent leads to a lot of insecurities and procrastination.

My life was very inconsistent while growing up. With both parents active in their drinking, we never knew if it woudl be jeckyll or Hyde walking through the door. It was very difficult to PLAN anything..even supper.
I learned as a small child to have a plan B. That helps me be a little more consistent.
Today I am much more on the CONSISTANT side of this chip than inconsistant. I think having order instead of chaos has helped me to do that.

Consistent/Inconsistent Consistency for me comes from keeping my life in balance as best as I can. Life was explained to me to be a pie, cut into serving pieces, with each piece representing a different aspects of your life. Recovery, Prayer & Meditation, Work, Family, Recreation & Fun, Rest etc. (You can cut the pie into your own serving size as needed) . When one portion of the pie is getting more attention the other pieces will suffer. When the filling of my pie starts to ooze out I scoop it back up and put it back where it belongs. I do this by adjusting to change. It is all about keeping balance in my life. By keeping this balance it diminishes the inconsistency that was once a big part of my life. Love & God Bless Arlene
