I consider myself a very generous person. I give of my time as well as my talents and treasures. yesterday I stopped by my part time job to set up my meeting this morning. I noticed the basket of mechanical pencils I bought was out and it was not as ful as it used to be. I bought them and was not reimbursed. What did I do? I ent to Wal Mart a fe minutes ago and bought another 24 pencils to put in the basket. I won't say anything to anybody. I wont ask to be paid back. (The boss woudl probably say let them furnish their own pencils...LOL) I will dump them in the basket and go about my business. I buy alot of things for both of my jobs. And I share with others willingly.
I think the thing I am most selfish with is my serenity. If somebody or something is trying to steal my serenity, I will do what it takes for me to regain it and keep it.
But I dont think I am selfish with other areas of my life.

An ex-boyfriend told me several years ago that I tended to be selfish. I couldn't see this within myself, but turned it over to my Higher Power, because it is not a trait that I want to be identified with.
For the most part, I am very generous of time, money when I have it, goods, etc. and had to learn not to be too generous and learn to make sure I didn't give away what I needed for myself. I needed to be generous with me and be willing to accept help and goodness from others.
