Of ALL the defects--- *sigh*

Okay, so I'm STILL procrastinating on the inventory stuff. Since I wasn't GIVEN a time line, I'm just kinda putzing and taking my time. Yep--been pretty darn busy with stuff at work. Yep--been pretty darn busy with working with others. However, they've been 'convenient' interferences to getting the inventory worked on.

I did my first fourth step locked in a room for three straight days. Soooooooo....that's genuinely not an option today--but I really could be making arrangements, and just haven't.
Fine example I'm setting for the world around me, eh? GREAT in the intergrity department. NOT.

There's paperwork for work that I'm procrastinating on. After all, I 'deserve' a break from being responsible. There's taxes to do. Who WANTS to do taxes, for crying out loud. There's the inventory--cuz I'm just 'swamped' dontcha know.......

I avoid procrastinating. I dont like to make any tasik harder than it needs to be. So...if I put off things like laundry, cleaning up clutter. etc...the job only gets larger.


i work better doing small accomplishments and marking them off my liust.

I dont even dread a 4th step because (after the first one...) I am reminded that
i also find GOOD things about me I can build on.

I have been procrastinating about doing my next fourth too. I hope that when the time is right, I will be able to do it. I have a good friend who believes that when it is to be done, it will be. Sometimes what we perceive as procrastination is in truth an indication that the time is right and something must be learned or a new awareness given in order to proceed.

Tonight I am sharing my experience, strength and hope at an Al-Anon meeting that I have never been to. I had planned to go there for the last couple of weeks but never got; and although I never got there, I know the thing that is important is showing up on time tonight.
