Just getting a little bit sick and tired of being tired and sick.
My computer was down twice last month. I have been down for most of the last two months. I go see a specialist on the 22nd of this month and on the 23rd of next. I would really like some answers, besides old age setting in.
I have also developed what they call a floater in my left eye. It doesn't hurt, but it sure is annoying and they say it can be cause as a result of surgery or old age. I qualify for both.
I have also been busy doing paperwork for my old age pension which starts in May. Not sure of the transfer from disability and what kind of income I will have. I have had authorization of payment but not how much I will have to live on. Always a very stressfull, but one day at a time, we are getting through it.
My son has found a place to land so is no longer 'dropping' in all the time, so I have had my own space back which helps big time.
Thanks for letting me share.

I can totaly relate to patience/impatience. I am normally a pretty patient person. But lately I want things to go when I want them to happen and it is just not in my power to make it happen.
I post4ed a couple of weeks ago abtu one occasion of this.(think it was on the ACOA board) We are emptying out our kitchen to get a new one. I cleaned out my grandmother's antique secretary ...ready to roll it a few yards into the living room. Hubby woudl not help. I asked him 3 times. I did not want those contents piled up 3 or 4 days until HE got ready so I started moving it myself. You guessed it. It fell over. It hit a piece of furniture and marred it,., made three places on the wall, broke the beveled mirror, broke the glass, broke off the top left, broke the carved part aroud the mirror in three pieces, and stripped the hinges on the bottom bart. It is a mess. I will check later to see if it can be repaired. I was impatient. It will cost me. It already cost me the words from my husband about having to be in such a hurry.

PS...about thsoe floaters. I got some last eyar when I was dong alot of packing up my classroom at the end of the year to retire. They were like tentacles dangling down on my eyes. But then it started flashes. They were like from the sides when I was driving in the dark. That was totally scarey. I went right away to the doctor. He said it COULD be serious but mine was not. I have jsut had to lern to live with them. They are still there, but I don't notice as much as I did.

Have found them to be more of a bother than anything else. Always think my glasses are dirty.
