Welcome Spiritwarrior, I don't know if its my place to try to help you on what you just posted, but if you want to respond to someones thread personally you can send them a private message by clicking onto their names on the left side and send them a message. If a post is recent it the main board that has the listings of what catagory (example: Coffee shop) will lite up to a darker blue indicating that there is a recent post. To reply to someone you can click on reply to that post on the bottom of its post. I hope that I helped and its what you wanted to hear. Again, welcome to EOR. This site has lots of ES&H shares and information for many areas of recovery. Take care.

Thanks dg I wrote my concerns in a better place, to the moderator. But thank you for reaching out. It's a tough time right now for me and I'm grateful for kind words. I just have been having a time figuring out this board. Like, right now when I'm replying to you, it will just post according to time as opposed to person, so there's no real chance of a thread happening. And, like I pointed out to the moderator, I think that issue, and a few other things about how the forums are constructed, make it hard for someone new to the board. In looking at the amount of members that joined but never posted, or posted only once, or twice, it seems something prohibitive is happening. The site is really an awesome idea. I just asked if it could be re-organized to encourage sharing of ES&H. The more people, the greater the support, right?

Hey everyone! I'm Johnny alcoholic and addict. I'm in early sobriety and thought this might be a good place to visit.

Congratulations on 40 days. I was very sick and I commend you for being able to post. I wasn't able to do much. Just put one foot in front of the other and went to meetings. If you take the body, I found the mind will follow.

Just hitting a lot of meetings and praying about a thousand times a day! lol It really does help. I recently went and seen a holistic doctor also. It was really amazing. Fits in perfectly with recovery and teaches you about changing thought patterns. I hope everyone has a great day! Oh I'm from Peoria Il. I love Minnesota Ron! Have a friend up there in the cities. God bless!

Congratulations Johnny. My son had four months on the 24th of September. He is doing meetings, back to work, working out at the gym and is looking good. He put on 40 lbs. He is 6'3" tall and weighs 190 lbs. although I think he might have lost some since he started back working in landscaping.

Congradulations. Them one day at a times add up. Been involved in the group or club house is an excellant way to add insurance to staying sober. Some of the old timers that have the kind of soberity that I want are also the ones that give back the most. Once again congradultions.

Hope all is well with you Johnny. Unfortunately, my son relapsed last weekend. The good thing is it is one day at a time. Today he is sober.
