TUESDAY CHIP--SELF-PITY/SELF-FORGETFUL
This is an odd chip for me, I don't think either side really fits into my life today.
Having a "pity party" has never helped me to accomplish anything. All self-pity does is make me feel miserable, I like the slogan "Just Do It". If I don't like my mood, or what's happening in my life, I can always make a change and strive to make things better.
As for as being self-forgetful, I gave up being a doormat many years ago. Yes I do go the extra mile to help friends and family, but not to the point where I am not taking care of me.
"Just for today I will be unafraid. Especially I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful and to believe that as I give to the world, so the world will give to me."
Have a wonderful day and please feel free to post in response to my message or pick your own chip. I love to hear from you.
Have a wonderful day, SunnyGirl

I always thought this was an odd chip. Self fiorgetful soudns like such a strange way to say it.
I try very hard to be good to myself. WHen I need soemthing, I do what I need to get it. Alot fo that has to do with haveing 2 jobs that I love. I can emmerse myself in my jobs and the r4est of the world goes on. I'm happy when I'm at work. Both jobs are very rewarding.
I jsut oposted onMOnday's chi[ abotu my afternoon yesterday. I was not in self pity, but I sure was worried. Gratitude pulls me out of the pity party every time!
