THURSDAY CHIP---TRUST/SUSPICIOUS

I think I am suspicious by nature!
I trust GOD 100%, but all others it's
kind of a "trust but verify".

"Honey" will watch a commercial on TV
and see some item they swear will
work wonders for you and he's ready
to buy it. I keep trying to tell him they
hype this stuff and 9 out 10 times that
we went ahead and got it we were both
very disappointed. Yep, I am suspicious!

With friends and loved ones, I want to
always trust them, but have been burnt
more than once. Yep, "trust but verify"
seems to work for me, but maybe I have
to take that chance now and then and go
out on a leap of faith.

I am suspicious of our new President elect,
but I will say a prayer for him and our country!

Have grown a lot in this area. It was difficult at the beginning because I had been hurt so many times in the past. I try to trust until such a time as they prove me otherwise. It was really difficult to open up and allow myself to become vulnerable. The reality for me was finding out that just because they were in the program, didn't mean they lived it. I watch for people who walk their talk.
