TUESDAY CHIP---ORGANIZED/DISORGANIZED
I am on the organized side of this chip today..... ;D
And I feel so good about myself! I've had a running list, of "things to do" and I've run my little backside off getting everything in order. Some of the things were on my old list (lost that one) but I managed to check off every single item on my list. I even did some comparison pricing on my home insurance and have saved myself $600.00 a year for the exact same coverage. BONUS!!!
The best way for me to get organized is to make my list and stay on it until it's completed. I am positively giddy now that I'm done with it. I feel empowered!!
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

I am both. My down fall is I save to much stuff. A lot of it is good stuff but I will never use it so should sell it or when I am down with a project bring the unused stuff back for a refund. I go to bed at night with a game plan for the next day. Because of what I do for a living it is very seldom that I can actually stick to the plan. I have a about a 3 page list of things I can do for a fill in if I ever get the time to do them. I started today on replacing about 160 ft of suspended ceiling in a hallway that has been on my list for the last 2 years. Three hours into it the cell phone rang and I ended up with another weeks work to get done before the end of the year. To some that might be a blessing, I didn't want any more just to dumn to say no. When it comes to getting things done I am very organized. Now if you look at my desk you might have your doubts about that. When the dust is settled I am satisfied with my organization as far as the quality of my work. As for stuff getting put back neatly in a certain place I live a lot to be desired. But hey, what do you expect for a duck.

For me it is organized chaos. I try to do things in an orderly fashion like getting a meal ready so that all food is cooked at the same time and ready to serve without being overdone, under cooked, and the hot is hot and the cold is cold. For many years, I resented my partners or my guests for deciding to go to the bathroom just when I have served up dinner, especially if I have said, "Dinner is ready in five minutes."
I am not a good organizer of papers at home. I was a good filer and knew where to find things at work but when I got home it was like I left my work habits at the door.

I also do LISTS. That helps me check things off and do lots more. The problem here is...I have my list..I go to do the first thing on my list...go to the post office and mail all of my Christmas packages and cards...and before we can come home so I can get to the rest of my list...we have to--- wash the truck Put gas in the truck get some oysters for tomorrow at Sam's go to Cracker Barrell and eat
only THEN was I able to get back home to work on my list.
I am very much on the organized side of this chip...and there are times it drives me crazy when those aroudn me are so DIS organized and it spills overinto "MY TIME".
