MONDAY CHIP---MORAL/IMMORAL
I consider myself to be of high moral character. I don't lie-cheat-steal and try not to speak unkindly about others. But working Step 4 was not an easy process for me, it took a bunch of soul searching to find the flaws that I had pushed way, way back in my conscience. I read the verse below as I began my step-4 work and it kinda opened up things for me
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
Soul searching is was it took for me to be honest with myself, that and a bunch of prayers.......
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

I also consider myseklf to be high in moral character. Liek Sg said..I dont klie, cheat or steal and I try to treat others kindly.
The worse thing I do is I often go beyond the speed limit in my car. That's illegal...not immoral. I've never cheated on my spouse. SO I think I am SAFe on this one to say..MORAL.

When I was drinking, my morals were not the best. Today, I am not afraid to bring them into the light. It was bring them to the Light, that allowed me to change and become a better me in today. I have heard so many people think that the disease of alcoholism is a moral one. I do not believe this. It was the alcohol that cause me to act out and when it left my life, I had to connect with the true self and allow the healing to take place, forgiving myself and others.
