THURSDAY CHIP---HUMOR/HUMORLESS "Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly." -unknown
Well, I can honestly say I am no angel, but I have learned
not to take life quite so seriously. I'm finding that the longer
I practice laughing at life, the easier it gets. This chip fit's
my mood today, I've been fretting and stewing over little things
and I finally threw up my hands and said, to heck with it.
"Honey" doesn't always get my sense of humor and it sometimes
loses something in the translation. But instead of worry
and woe is me, I will throw out a one liner and laugh instead.
Being cheerful and enthusiastic goes a long way towards
changing the mood around me.
"No use crying over spilt milk".....
"Might as well laugh as to cry about it"......
"When you get lemons, make lemonade".....
"When life gives you scraps make quilts"......
These are a few of the old sayings my Grandmother used
to throw out there when I had lost my sense of humor.
