MONDAY CHIP---PATIENCE/IMPATIENCE I picked this chip today and there just may be a real test of my patience. I am watching my Granddaughter, she's 2 1/2 years old and quite a little spit fire, into everything. She'll watch cartoons for about 2 minutes and off she goes exploring every nook and cranny. Never a dull moment! Our weather is cold and rainy, so allowing her outside to burn some energy is totally out of the question. She really is a sweetie, just something about 2 years olds...... Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

My little buddy was 2 on August 3rd. One have the one grandkid so he is my favorite grandson. I get confused on what people are saying. First they say he is a cute little feller ( which he is) than they say he looks like me. ( which he does) Seriously the little feller looks more like me than my own sons do (they look like me to hahahahahaha)
Think I hurt daughters feelings. She graduated 2nd in her class and with honors from the University of Minnesota. I told her that the little feller might fet a record. He would be the first person to pass 1st grade at the age of 34. Oh the little feller is smart. Almost to smart. But he doesn't have time to sit. He is on the go all the time. Daughter gave me a dirty look so I tried to cheer her up. I said he might date the teacher and she will pass him at 33 haha.
They sure are fun.

I read that RON...Last night I was reading a new book about children with ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia. I heard the authro speak in person last week at a conference. So far he seems to blame TEACHERS for the problems the kids are having at school...the teachers expect themto memorize and to use phonics to spell and these kids are visual lerners. I teach with hands on...i teach phonics and memorizing as well as visual things to help them rememebr...so it does not seem fair that he blankets all teachers in that mode.
As far as patience...I have all kinds of patience when it comes to teach8ing a 3rd grader to do division. I have patience in traffic and long checkout lines. I dont always have so much patience when I go to work with a sober spouse here and come home 2 hours later to a drunk one. That often flies all over me and I flip out.
I try hard to use my program and realize...he's an alkie and active alkies drink. I know that. What more can I expect???
