THURSDAY CHIP---SERENITY/CHAOTIC

This time of year can really become chaotic for me, if I
allow it to. But I seem to be just cruising thru this
holiday season with peace and serenity oozing all
over me. For one thing, "Honey" has been a real help
to me. Seasons past he urged me to go and do my
thing, this year he has decided he wants to be a part
of it. I am completely over joyed by this. We now have
all the packages mailed and just a few more in town
to buy for and I am strongly thinking I will do gift cards.
We are both trying to "keep it simple" and the older
son is having Christmas dinner at his house. This works
for me, I can play with the grandkids......

Serene or chaotic? I am a little bit of both. I am serene in the fact that I finished my shopping by Nov. 1 , mailed all packages out of town the day before Thanksgiving, and I've already bought abotu 20 gifts for next year. BUt the chaotic part comes with having to schedule 'get-togetheres" with busy families and fit it all in. It looks like several will have to be after Christmas.

That's chaotic. Startting tomorrow I have 4 "get-togethers" in 5 days. Tuesday I skipped so far, but I have a 2 PM doctor appointment...so that pretty much slices the day downthe middle!

One thing that will help with serenity..school is out for the holidays, so I wont have that job. My other job has meetings on Wed. and Thursday so for 2 weeks I will miss 4 of those meetings . Not sure if that's good or not..because of having more time to sit and watchhim watch TV and drink.
