FRIDAY CHIP---WILLING/STUBBORN
Hmmmmm...... I pulled this chip for today and I'm really trying to rationalize it before responding. That must mean I am feeling a little guilty about something???
I suppose if I am completely honest about it I would say I am stubborn and resistant to allot of change. On the other hand, I am working very hard to change the defects in my character. I'm just not convinced that change is always a good thing and when I feel this way I will really dig in and stubbornly cling to what feels comfortable.
I am willing to give of myself and help others in need. I am willing to listen and console anyone that is hurting. I am willing to change, but when the change just doesn't feel good to me, my first instinct is to revert back to my old pattern or habbits....... One day at a time!
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

I was very willing in early recovery but after the 10 year mark I found myself getting complacent. Then I read an article that said if you are in a comfortable zone it was a good idea to look at change and get out of the rut, push some boundaries and take some risks.
I asked my son if I was stubborn. He said, "Absolutely, 100%" so guess God and I have more work to do on this.

Think I will just sencond what Sunny said.
As much as I don't like most major changes they have been to my best interest.
Keep smiling,

I am a very willing perosn. I am willing to do whatever it takes to maintain my serenity. I am willing to help others and willing to give of my time, talent and treasures to thsoe aroudn me who are in need.
The one thing I am stubbron about is my serenity. If something or somebody is about to put a damper in my serenity, I am on the spot to keep that from happening.
