SUNDAY CHIP---LOYAL/DISLOYAL
I am very loyal to friends and family, I may say or think ill of them now and then, but don't let me hear others say it. On this, I try to "say what I mean, but not say it mean", I'm not always successful but I'm working on it.......
I am also loyal to myself, I'm a strong believer in... "To thine own self be true". I believe I am a good person and deserve to be treated the same way I treat others. I'm loyal to Essence of Recovery and all my friends here. I am loyal to the 12-steps and traditions and try to work at them each day, it's not always easy, but it's worth it---- I'M WORTH IT!!!!!!
Are you LOYAL or DISLOYAL, please share......
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

My motto is if you hurt a friend and/or a family friend, you hurt me. I am afraid I tend to take things personally. I have been loyal to this site and others although because of health issues I can't always do what I like to do in service for AA and NA and that is why I like to come and share here. I looked up the word at here was the results:
loy⋅al /ˈlɔɪəl/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [loi-uhl] Show IPA Pronunciation
–adjective 1. faithful to one's sovereign, government, or state: a loyal subject. 2. faithful to one's oath, commitments, or obligations: to be loyal to a vow. 3. faithful to any leader, party, or cause, or to any person or thing conceived as deserving fidelity: a loyal friend. 4. characterized by or showing faithfulness to commitments, vows, allegiance, obligations, etc.: loyal conduct.
Sounds about right to me.
