I received word that MSN is deleting groups in February. Would you mind if I post some of the material from my sites on here so that I don't lose some sentimental favorites? I will try not to duplicate anything that is already here. I have ten sites, so if they are all deleted it will be such a waste of time and energy from over the past five years. I think I am already grieving just thinking about it. I think this is an old post, not sure if it is still on the site. You have to smile at this. Take your best shot, give me a dunk! www.thedunktank.com/v.php?id=42e0192976cdee7c0489f093a548ecc7

Personally I am against it unless it is in moderation. Sorry to hear that your other sites might be getting taken off the net but that is a risk that one takes when one doesn’t have their own site or sites. Because of the amount of posts that where being put on the board as I remember it Max set a maximum number an individual could post per day at 5. That if an individual where to do more that their IP address would be blocked from the site. Based on that if you limit the amount of post to 5 a day or less it is fine.
Have a great day,
Ron

Hi Caressa, Sadly the site is going down for you, but what you could do is copy paste them and put it in a notebook file that way when you decide to find another site to poste stuff, IE: yahoo.com ect. or even Facebook. or myspace where you can make a page all your own w/o being taken away from you. Losing your work from 10 sites would be a great loss! Just a thought, but couldn't you save it to a disk or on your computer? I understand how you must feel, but others don't want to see the boards flooded with cut and paste. I can see both sides of this, but I will go along with what ever Max decides...... H.U.G.S..... SG

Don't have the space, and my disc and cd-rom is broken on my computer. But it is okay, I do have a yahoo site and have permission at Recovery Inn to post material there.

Have just looked at my sites and there is a notice on them.
The MSN Groups service will close in February 2009. You can move your group to Multiply, MSN’s partner for online groups. Learn More
Not much of a techie so not sure if I can transfer them but will try and see what I can do.
