Tuesday Chip---Trusting/Suspicious

I like to think of myself as being trusting and in some
respects I am. But when it comes to business dealings
I am less than trusting, I am suspicious and am afraid
of being taken advantage of....

Today I hired a little "mom & pop" business to clean
my dryer vents out (clothes were taking forever to dry).
I've lived in this house over 30 years and have never
even thought about vents plugging up. Anyway, I called
better-business to check on them and they had no complaints
on file. The turned out to be a young couple, very nice and
very business like. The young man told me to call him
if I have any problems with it, all work is guaranteed. I'm
glad I chose this company, I liked the fact that this man and
wife had choses to work together in their own business.
It kinda reminded me of "Honey" and I when we first opened
the Supper Club.

I used to try to trust everyone, but I've been burnt a few times.
Now my motto is "trust but verify".......

Trust in myself was a hard fought battle. I had to learn that by trusting my Higher Power, I could learn to find the trust within. As they say, "What He brings you to, He will see you through." I am not so suspicious of others until they prove me wrong and then they have to learn that trust.
