SATURDAY CHIP---DISCIPLINED /UNDISCIPLINED
I am attempting to be more disciplined, in every aspect of my life. For me this is a big chore, as I am generally pretty layed back. I am going about this the same way I do recovery, “One Day at a Time”.
I am finding that the old saying, “less is more” is very applicable, to my attempt to become more disciplined. The more stuff I hang onto the more difficult the job of discipline becomes. Being able to work and behave in a controlled way and not allow chaos to enter in, allows me to run my life, relationships and recovery much more smoothly……
“Less is More” and “Keep it Simple” can apply to my writing on the boards, or communicating my feelings to all my friends and family.... K.I.S.S.
Peace on the Journey, SunnyGirl

Well I was very disciplined today, except for one hand. I went to our Bridge Club's individual tournament today. I played with the director of the club and our opponent bid no trump and so I led my partners suit instead of my own. He made over tricks instead of us putting the contract down. I must have done something right. I came in first with 60.9%. When I play regularly my goal is 50% to be competitive. Ironically, my partner and I played last night and we came last.
I don't believe I am a disciplined person on the whole. I tend to go with the flow, but when the flow looks good, I tend to push it for all it is worth.

DISCIPLINED /UNDISCIPLINED
(What a stupid thing to even thing of making a post on.)
Of course I am disciplined. I eat my supper one bite at a time. I also eat 1/2 of my wife's One bite at a time. And some of grandson's. One bite at a time. I eat the triple scoop turtle sunday one bite at a time. Doesn't that sound like a disciplined person to you? ( sounds more like a pig to me)
( stomach is still full) I know discipline (just don't always apply what I know)
Self discipline is something I work at pretty much on a dailey basis. Ok.....perhaps I didn't practice discipline at supper tonight. HEY ............ I think I did..... I didn't take no food off the table on either side of me. Doesn't that count as discipline? :-)
When I don't practice self discipline than I usually have to pay the price. ( dern,,,,,my belly still hurts)
Self discipline and moderation must be relatives. :-)

I am very disciplined. I have routines and I follow thru on them. I also adapt to change. I dont always liek it at first, but I adapt.
I am quite organized and that helps me with my discipline.
