THURSDAY CHIP---GRATEFUL/UNGRATEFUL
I am feeling the grateful side of this chip today..... I've been in sort of a snit lately, about what EOR used to be. Worrying about where the old timers went.... Well, I'm here today to tell you that I am grateful that EOR is here today and I'm right where I'm suppose to be. The old timers that have moved on, must be where they need to be, or they'd check in.
I am also grateful to those of you that stayed here and kept the light in the window and were here to welcome me back. For the visitors reading the posts on these boards, I'd be grateful if you would sign in and let us know how your doing.....
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It is something that I try to practice the other 364 days of the year. I have so much to be grateful for. I didn't think I would live to be 40. Each day of the next 26 years have been a gift.

I know how you feel my friend. Thought this tells it better than I can. It is not just AA, it is for all 12 Step Groups or even those who think they may qualify for one. I know I can identify with most of them. They say, "You are a member when you say you are." I am the one who has to qualify. No one can make the decision for me.
I am grateful for the fact that they didn't turn me away. It took me a long time to get to the doors. I was so glad they were wide open when I got there.
