A is for Attitude. When I have a positive one, my road is much smoother. I can handle the bumps and curves so much better and I know the right action to take when I have to make a detour.

C is for Control. I can take control of my life by the choices I make. Control is an illusion and is something I leave in my HPs hands.
I certainly have control issues, haven't the patience to format these like you my friend.

D is for Duty. Having a false sense of duty, can detour me from the path I am meant to go. Often it is an old tape that needs to be redefined.

F is for Fuel. I need to feed my body, mind and spirit. I can't run on empty. Living on fumes doesn't give me much substance to operate on. I need food to feel all parts of my disease.

L is for Laughter. The first time I heard the laughter at a meeting, I didn't want to go in. It reminded me of the bar scene. It took the reassurance of my two friend to get me to go in. I came to appreciate it later. The biggest gift of all was the ability to laugh at myself.

N is for "No." No is a complete sentence. I didn't know the meaning of the 'N' or the 'O' for fear of rejection, abandonment and people pleasing, until I came into the program. There was 'no' pleasing everyone.
