Friday Chip---Cooperative/DomineeringThis chip jumped out at me this morning, as I can at times, attempt to dominate those around me. When this happens I need to check my motives and get back to working and playing well with others. ____________________________________________________ Dominate: To exert a supreme, guiding influence on or over Domineering: Tending to domineer; overbearing. Cooperative: Marked by a willingness to cooperate; compliant Cooperate: Work or act together toward a common end or goal ____________________________________________________ "Honey", is a follower.... But I try not to be overbearing with him. I've learned that by leading gently it keeps our marriage on an even keel. When I push to hard he will dig in and refuse to budge what ever the issue is. It's been very important for me to realize that when people have a common goal, they have to work together to accomplish it. Today, I am on the cooperative side of this chip. All of my relationships work much smoother, when we look for reasonable solutions. Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl
