SATURDAY CHIP- - -GRATEFUL/UNGRATEFUL

The day I become totally free of all defects of character,
will be the day I meet my maker! Many of my defects
are blatantly obvious, others I choose to reach out to my
Higher Power and ask for his help in showing me the
true nature of my defects. I am grateful for all the
Blessings I‘ve been given, I am grateful for the guidance,
strength and hope, that he gives me daily.

I am grateful to Essence of Recovery, for providing this
tool for my recovery tool box… I will work daily to change
myself, one day, one defect at a time….

Gratitude is a w9onderful aspect of my life today. I find the good in the little things aroudn me. I look for the lessons my HP wants em to learn. Finding gratitude helps me not be consumed by the cruddy parts of my day.

I can't remember a time when I was ungrateful...so it's been a long time on this one.

My sponsor use to tell me, don't say it act it. Gratitiude is an action word. If you are grateful, give back to others what has been given to you. It isn't yours to keep, it is meant to be passed on.
