Monday Chip: GRATEFUL/ UNGRATEFUL
I am grateful for this beautiful Monday morning..... I am grateful, my daughter will be arriving for a visit this afternoon. I have been given much and I am filled with gratitude for all of it, the good - the bad - and all that falls somewhere in between. Yep, I can even be grateful for the bad things that happen, it gives me a chance to learn and grow from it.
I will have all the family for dinner on Greek Easter and it's going to put a smile on my face for a long time. Each of the kids have their own lives to live, (children-jobs-etc) this will be the first time we've all sat down together in almost 2 years! Yep, I am very grateful ......
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

I was grateful that the buses were running on normal schedule as I had to go an ultra sound to see if my cysts have grown or spread. I then went to physio. The library was closed so just dropped of my books. I am grateful I still have three left to read.
I ran into two people from the program I haven't seen in a long while. They use to belong to my AA group and they informed me that they stopped going to meeting a long time ago. I was at his very first meeting. I am grateful that I haven't lost the desire to detach from recovery. I don't go to AA anymore, but 12 Steps are 12 Steps, in Al-Anon or another fellowship.

Not often will you ever find the duck on the ungrateful side. I am truelly grateful what I have. Mentally, physically and materially. For a wild kid that started out with nothing other than ambition life has been dern good to me. Will throw my usually disclaimer in about now that I am by far not the riches guy in guy nor do I live as well as some. But in all do respect I have nothing to complain about. Did my kids set the world on fire with wonderful jobs or success in busines--------naw. But I have 3 wonderful kids with really good morals. Did I marry Miss American----naw. But will say this. Up untill she put some extra weight on she could of been a center fold. Do we have the perfect family------naw. But when you consider I come from a disfunctional family and my family looks sane compared to the way wife's family use to be our family is ALMOST a discilpled family. At the moment have one grandchild. Is he the perfect grandkid------mmmmmmmmmmmmm-let me think about that one haha. Seriously though. He is a handsome little fellow, smart as heck, full of ambition. Well put together but size wise he is a runt. But a lovable runt.
Been to hell an back more than once. Not complaining about that either. It was the trips to hell that thought me how to love life, love the people I come in contract with, and have the respect for live and all in it that I have now.
As always amazed me the health I have. I have totaled out more cars than some people have ever known. Have taken some naste falls when drunk and working construction. Totalled out a snowmobile at 75 mph. And have no major health issues.
God has never been mean to me. When I was younger I had some chips on my shoulders and needed an attitude adjustment. God just put some things in my way that adjusted my attitude haha.
Love you all and wish you all the best,
Ron aka Mr Duck

Grateful I finished my book and had a 4 hour nap.
Cooked my dinner, potatoes, ham glazed with chili sauce and honey mustard, and pork and beans. Haven't been able to book very much and had to eat TV dinners or just make a sandwich.
Grateful for those good days.
