“Keep It Simple” helps to remind us that simple solutions are often the most effective ones. This slogan can help us look at what really is happening rather than what we imagine may happen, and to take a reasonable, step by step approach rather than act out of fear or panic.
I love this slogan and have used it many times to simplify my life. I also love the saying, Less is More. Seems many of us have a tenancy to magnify and put life under a microscope and trust me, it doesn't help.
Why write a book, when a paragraph says it all......
If people listened to themselves more often, they would talk less...
Take time to smell the roses, take time for a little fun! Don't take life so seriously...... Don't make a crisis out of an incident.
Most of all.....
Keep it simple!
Peace on the journey, Cherie

Why write a book when a paragraph says it all! How profound!
Many years ago there was a TV show called mary Hartman. She's go on and on and on to tell a story. Hubby woudl tell me and tell his aunt...there goes mary hartman again! That wouedl mean we were telling a long story to get across a simpkle point.
It ticked me off and I made a conscious effort to stop. Today I say what I mean and I try to say it in as few words as it takes.
Keeping things simple does make my lie run smother! LIN

Never thought of it this way, although it still seems to take 5 words to say what others say in 3.
Just thought of myself as being long winded and searching for the right words more so than a person not telling the truth.
Over the years I have found that people don't want to hear what I say because I tell as it is. It is my perception and others may disagree. I have done a lot of work on myself and each day I am open to learning more. Recovery doesn't quite. It is a journey.
