V is for VORACIOUS.I have a VORACIOUS appetite for books on recovery. I read them cover to cover when I first get one and then go back and read the parts I have highlighted.

Z is for Zoo! My life can get like a Zoo when I forget to work my program. The chaos and insanity has me baying at the moon. Ducking my responsibilities. Chickening out and not following through with my decisions. It doesn't pay to monkey around. (sorry couldn't resist) This is a life and death program.

I is for Isolation. Isolation is part of my disease. It is not a part of my recovery. Isolation blocks me from the sunshine of the spirit. It brings me back to the big "  " AM! Me, myself and I are symptoms of my disease. |
