U is for: Unique
“Let go of your attachment to being right, and suddenly your mind is more open. You're able to benefit from the Unique viewpoints of others, without being crippled by your own judgment.” - - Ralph Marston

V is for Vow. The Big Book makes a promise to eachof us, "We will be amazed before we are half way through..." This vow came true for me before I got to the Nineth Step along with many others.

X is for 'Xtra. 'Xtra prayer never hurt as long as you take 'xtra time to be still and listen for the answer. Asking over and over again shows lack of faith, especially when we haven't taken time to see if our first prayer was answered. Perhaps the answer was 'no' and we need to have an 'xtra helping of faith and trust and align our will with God's.
