An attitude of gratitude will help get me through each and every day....
Today, most of all, I am grateful for a loving Higher Power who get's me through each and every day.
I am grateful to EOR and all of the 12-step programs. I have been blessed to finally understand that acceptance is the key to my serenity and peace.
This is an open gratitude list and I'll keep it at the top of the page for any who stop by and want to share.....
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

Well I am grateful for being an addict to qualify for NA, I am also grateful that I am the daughter of a mother with a food addict and a son who is in active addiction which qualifies me for Nar-Anon. I am also grateful for an alcoholic father that qualifies me for Al-Anon and ACoA. One of the reason I am grateful is that I have the Twelve Steps and Traditions to apply to my life to help me with not only being sober, detachment, boundaries and focusing on my own health and well being, it helps me deal with chronic pain. Here is a link to a friend's site for support on Fibromyalgia. The women who are members there are on heavy duty drugs. I am so grateful I don't have to go there. groups.google.ca/group/fibrowhat/web/meet-fibromyalgia?hl=enWas just sharing with my partner that I have too much awareness. Some people think they are putting one over on me, or that I don't know. They forget that I had the t-shirt, wore it, and out grew it! I am grateful that I don't have to wear it any more.

Today, I am especially grateful for a great doctor report on my "Honey". All his blood work came back good and doc said keep doing what your doing with his diet and exercise.
I am also grateful that I have a comfortable home, plenty to eat and enough money to pay my bills.
I am grateful for a loving family!
But most of all I am grateful for a loving God who keeps me safe and on the right road....
Hugs to each of you, SunnyGirl

Today I was grateful that the storm didn't put the power out.
I was grateful that my pain allowed me to finish my shift.
I am grateful that I had food that was quick to prepare because I didn't have much energy left over to cook it.
I am grateful I was able to lie down for two hours and wake up pain free. I am grateful I have food in my fridge the day before payday.
I am even more grateful that I have freedom of choice.
Not only about what I eat, how and when I eat it, but about all things that affect my health and well being.

Thou hast given so much to me, Give one thing more, - a grateful heart; Not thankful when it pleaseth me, As if Thy blessings had spare days, But such a heart whose pulse may be Thy praise.
- - George Herbert
It's not always easy to be grateful, when everything around you seems to be going wrong. When this happens to me, I look for the lessons I can learn.
I am grateful God, for providing me with everything I need and for giving me the grace to be satisfied with what I have...... Thy will be done!
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl
