Sometimes it is hard to love people whose actions make them difficult to be with. Their actions and deeds tend to make them unloveable and yet we are asked to apply the principles of the program to all people and in all our affairs. When I look at where I came from, and what I had to go through to get to the doors of recovery, it is easier to accept others and their struggles in life. Sometimes I have to remember that even if I haven't done what they have done, I have to recognize that if I picked up, I could be where they are. The key word is yet. I don't want to go there. I need to have some compassion for my fellow sufferers. You don't have to be a newcomer to be in pain. Just because people are in the program doesn't mean they can't have difficult days. I am grateful that for the most part, I don't have bad days, I have bad moments during a day. ccmoi2.multiply.com/journal/item/150/Difficult_People

This is a link to one of my sites. The links are no longer valid as the servers all closed down, first at MSN and then at Multiply.
I am so grateful that some of the posts from my sites are here at EoR.
