U is for Understand. My spiritual quest started at a year's sober. I thought I knew who God was when I came into recovery only to find out that he was an old tape and God was who other people told me who He was and it was their own understanding of God. I had to find and understand who God was to me. I am still on that quest, God is as He/She/It reveals themselves to me today.

W is for Work. I need to work on my recovery. I need to work on my relationships, I need to work on my communication with others, especially with my Higher Power.

Y is for Yield. When You Yield to the suggestions of the program instead of fighting it and wanting to change them to the way You think they should be, they work!
