Hello all,
I don't normally request prayer for myself or members of my family but in this case I just HAVE to!!
My son, Chris has been battleing for 3 years to gain custody of his now 3 year old son,and the only thing holding things up is the judges decision. To make a long story short, he got a call Fri evening informing him that both his son, and little Chris' half sister (age 6) were molested by their mothers "friend"and the Child Protective service now has the children. Thank God now the kids are safe, but PLEASE pray that my son can get his son immediately so he can get him into permanent safety with him! Also please pray for big Chris, that he doesn't totally break down in the meantime. Feel free to pass this on to all those you know who pray. I will let you all know what happens. Chris sees his lawyer in the morning and hopes to get the judges attention as well.
Thanks to each of you and God bless you ALL.
Love you all, Lora
I know I should have done this as soon as I found out, but frankly I was so beside myself that the thought didn't occur to me to do more than pray and God knows I sure know better!!

Didn't realize there were two places for prayers. Got word that father Chris saw son Chris for a short visit but more won't be known until Wednesday. Continued prayer would be appreciated.

Received this from my friend.
Hi everyone, First, I apologize for not sending update last night after my son finally called me. Well, when he went to court yesterday afternoon, Child Protective Service of Indiana was reluctant to give him custody as he lives in Illinois. The judge was also reluctant, as he still has 22 days to give his final decision on the custody case that has been going on for over 3 years now. Sigh red tape stinks!! Upshot is that Chris Jr. will remain in foster care until the judge makes his decision. He said yesterday that he only has one case remaining before he gets to Chris Sr's case. Then Chris if he is granted custody, will have to still get CPS to give him custody of his son. After hearing all this, I just prayed some more and went to sleep. At any rate, this will or could continue for another 22 days minimum. Then God only knows what has to be done to get little Chris custody wise from CPS Indiana. So needless to say, I'm asking that you all continue to pray for them both. I will let you know the final outcome as soon as I know. Thank you again for all your prayers!!! I love you all, Lora
