Y is for Yell. Yesterday on The View. They said it was better to yell at your kids instead of spanking them. I think a hand on the padded behind or a tap on the hand with a brisque 'no' does more good than yelling and scream at a child. For me, it would affect the child's emotional well being. I don't believe in beating a kid, but a well placed assertive gesture goes a long way to letting them know that no means no, not maybe. My mother hit us with a wooden sthingy and yelled like a banshee. I didn't have a lot of respect for her. Attachments:
