B is for: Boundaries
“It is impossible to have a healthy relationship with someone who has no Boundaries, with someone who cannot communicate directly, and honestly. … It is our responsibility to take care of ourselves — to protect ourselves when it is necessary. … It is impossible to learn to be loving to ourselves without owning our self and owning our rights and responsibilities as co-creators of our lives.” - - Robert Burney

C is for Clean. It took me a long time to get rid of the toxins in my body, mind and spirit. By not adding addictive substance to my life, helped me to stay clean and sober. Having a clear conscience, getting honest with myself, helped me to maintain my sobriety. I had to sweep away the wreckage of my past and start with a clean slate. Attachments:

F is for: Fear
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look Fear in the face... The danger lies in refusing to face the Fear, in not daring to come to grips with it.
You must make yourself succeed every time. You must do the
thing you think you cannot do." - - Eleanor Roosevelt

Whoops - I'm on the wrong letter, but I leave this anyway. ;D
M is for Meditation
"What's encouraging about meditation is that even if we shut down, we can no longer shut down in ignorance. We see very clearly that we're closing off. That in itself begins to illuminate the darkness of ignorance." ~ Pema Chodron
This fits me today. I've been feeling "shut down", but I know I am and it is up to me to do something about it. To me, it's not so much of needing to know why, but what is important is what I do about it.
Thanks
