This reminds me of my rose coloured glasses I wore before recovery. Denial sure can give you tunnel and blurred vision. Love the concept of a spiritual lens. It brings me to a quote I heard many years ago, "Though I see through a glass darkly..." It reminds me to bring things out of the darkness and into the light so I can have an honest appraisal of them. Attachments:

Spiritual lenses help me to see how to comfort and make others happy, not just myself. The ISMs of my dis-ease, I, Self, and Me are put aside, in order to look at the world through spiritual lenses and find a new way of life.

Spiritual lenses timing me the AA Preamble. We are all equal, no one is better than. We come with one common goal. The freedom that recovery brings us through the 12 Steps and the God of our understanding, no matter what religion you believe or don't believe in.
