Hello SunnyGirl ~ I don't know if it allowed here or if you think the board has a need for it, but... I'd like to offer to post a Big Book Study I get from groups.yahoo.com/group/Big_Book_SeminarsIt's a daily post, or not, of about 32 post. At least that's from what I can remember without looking it up. I do have them saved and can start with Post #1 if you'd like me to. Thanks :-)

Marcie....
In the past, we have had considerable complaining about cut and paste sharing. Rule of thumb now, I am trying to keep all of it in Recovery Corner (daily readings or poems & prayers).
I would like a little more input from others that come to the message boards.... Personally, I think a BB study sounds like a great endeavor and could be a valuable tool for EOR and all that come here. I did check out the web site and sampled a couple lessons and they are a little lengthy but seem to be full of great information.
Ok folks, now I need you to step up and give me some input.....
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl
If there is agreement for the Big Book Study, I would suggest it be put in the AA section... unless you think otherwise!

I have no objections. I haven't been feeling well so haven't continued the 12 Step Study. It is my own personal feelings and experience, strength and hope. Hopefully, I will be able to get back to it when I get this infection cleared up. I had hoped that there would be more participation and discussion with what was written and other people's experience with working the steps on their own journey. For me, the 12 Steps fit all and can be applied to all areas of my life.
I would like it done in short segments with room for discussion, not all one big blog at a time.

Big Book Study - Post #35 health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Big_Book_Seminars/message/342 We're at page 128 of Chapter 9 - "The Family Afterward." Not sure how you would split this section, but Marcie might entertain that thought Caressa..... It would seem to be an AA/NA discussion (hint... Big Book) ;D

Have done a Big Book study and have also listened to the Joe and Charlie tapes. All good stuff. Most of my recovery has been Big Book and 12 Step Discussion meetings in AA and Basic Text in NA. For a short time, during my last relationship, I went to CA even though I have never done cocaine or crack. They use the Big Book as their basic text.

Good evening ladies - I've gone through and looked at the study. Some are post are definitely longer than others, so "if" we do it, we could, maybe, post one a week. Maybe on Monday's or Friday's?
As I remember this is one of the reason's I saved them. I was following along and most of the time I could not do some of them in one day, everyday.
This man has been doing these studies for years. He also takes his show on the road. That link can also give you dates and places he holds them.
Well, it's time for me to get quite for the night. Hope you all have a peaceful sleep.
Thanks :-)

I have no objections. I would like it done in short segments with room for discussion, not all one big blog at a time. Being as how, there are no objections, I am going to make a spot for this in the section, "Recovery Questions, Steps & Answers". This way, any 12-stepper could/would feel included. I like the idea of one per week, with discussions or questions.... Seems like we have more traffic here during the week, weekends kinda taper off..... Maybe a Monday or Tuesday posting??? Will leave that up to you Marcie.... Thank you for stepping up to do this service.... Your friend in recovery, Cherie
