U is for: Until
"Until you have learned to be tolerant with those who do not always agree with you. Until you have cultivated the habit of saying some kind word of those whom you do not admire. Until
you have formed the habit of looking for the good instead of the
bad there is in others, you will be neither successful nor happy".

V is for Voice. I had to learn when to use it and speak up for myself and when to be still and keep my thoughts to myself.

W is for Wonder. It never ceases to amaze me the gifts that I have been given as a result of being in recovery. When you work the Steps, they are truly a wondrous tool to changing your life and bringing about spiritual, emotional, and physical blessings. Attachments:

X is for: EXpect
We can’t eXpect ourselves to be perfect, we cannot eXpect others to be that way either. Live and let live ought to be our motto when dealing with those we encounter on the path of our journey......

Y is for You. Without you, there is no me. Isolation is a part of my disease, not part of my recovery. I need to yield, to surrender to the program and the suggestions made to stay clean and sober a day at a time. Go to meetings, get a sponsor, get a home group, get active in service, and work the Steps. Keep coming so YOU don't have to come back. To use is to die! Attachments:

Z is for Zoom. We can't zoom through the Steps and expect a quick fix. Recovery is a process. We can fix the outside and make it look good, but recovery in an inward journey and takes time. I didn't get this way overnight, so I can't expect to change everything all at once. Attachments:
